In 2006 a diversification was set up welcoming the public to our farm. We created the Oundle Maize Maze, where a design is cut into a living maize crop, with the aid of a Global Positioning, Satellite system. The maze within the maize has bridges positioned, to create an elevated perspective of the maze. A Quiz with themed questions, are located around the maze, to enjoy and solve. Refreshments, picnic tables and other family attractions are located at the maze site, making it a fun day out.
The maze area is now used for educational trips about the Maize Maze, the Environment and Farming. It has been supported by the Rockingham Forest Trust, a local community support group.
